Sport Science Integration Too often as performance staff we still function in micro-silos, meaning the PTs communicate very well with the PTs, ditto for the strength coaches. But the department communication is average. Sport science is ‘complicated’, but a good practitioner can help with interpretation. For example, what type of injury affects the team the most.
