Happy National Rural Health Day! On the third Thursday of November, National Rural Health Association and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) celebrate the power of rural! Today, we're proud to spotlight our project focused on Collaborative Care (CoCM) Among Rural Primary Care Practice! Traditional models for deploying behavioral health integration may not be feasible for small rural practices with limited resources, the use of telehealth and shared staffing models may provide a solution. As part of the 2024 NRHA Annual Rural Health Conference Dr. Ryan Kruis presented finding for Implementing Telehealth-enabled Psychiatric CoCM in Rural South Carolina, paving the way for more accessible behavioral health services in rural communities.
