The road to the top of Mt Lemmon is 27 miles and takes you from northeast Tucson at the base and ends at Ski Valley, Arizona. It’s a 7,000 foot elevation gain and temperatures drop about 3-3.5 degrees every 1,000 feet. It’s considered one of the most scenic drives in Arizona, crosses multiple climate zones, starts with saguaro cactus and ends with tall ponderosa pine!?? ?? ???
