You are not defined by your production. On social media- Don’t compare your insides to someone else’s outside Know who you want to be. There’s a difference between who you are and what you do Sharing my pain (Ken) helped me connect with others on a deeper level Ken has developed something he calls his Owners Manual- write this for yourself on how to live your best self. When he gets off track with that, he can feel that he is off his game. They both thought it was interesting to see how the economists disagreed. During the economist talk a LO asked, “Does anybody need to know this stuff? Is it just creating an excuse?” Ken has ADHD and tells of how him sharing his story encouraged a LO to come share their story with him and have a conversation. Being vulnerable can open up resources for you If someone strike a chord with you at a conference, go freaking meet them Great podcast and the Momentum Builder event sounded great.

NYC aka… No Yield Cashflow ?????? NYC, like any other high cost of living (HCOL) city has property prices that are multiples higher than most parts of the country. It’s the same story in other HCOL cities like: LA, SF, Seattle, DC, etc. Thanks to the higher prices (& costs), finding cashflow (rental income - mortgage - other expenses) is extremely difficult in year 0. It’s not to say that properties don’t exist that DO cashflow, but I’ve found them far and few in between and you have to squeeze REALLLYYY hard to get it (renting basement, driveway, storage, etc.) That being said, you can still definitely cashflow if you’re patient and/or coming up with enough downpayment to make the deal economics work.
