Pepsi Once Had The World's Sixth Largest Military You might have heard of world nations that hold the largest militaries. However, for a soda company to hold the 6th largest military in the world seems straight out of a Hollywood movie. In 1989, PepsiCo Inc. acquired 17 submarines, a cruiser, a frigate and a destroyer from the Soviet Union. The fact that Pepsi possessed the 6th largest fleet is not far from the truth. According to an analysis of?Jane’s fighting ships 1898-90,?a country operating a squadron of 17 submarines would have tied with India for possessing the seventh-largest fleet of attack submarines. This means Pepsi technically tied with India for the position of the 6th largest fleet in the world. The question here is how a soda company came to possess such a large fleet. Also, how it was more of a business transaction rather than a possession of an operating military fleet. More than 100 armoured vehicles will be in made in Queensland for Germany in the largest defence export deal in Australia's history. The $1 billion agreement will secure 600 direct jobs in Queensland, with economic opportunity flowing right through the supply chain. The Boxer heavy weapon carrier vehicles will be made at Rheinmetall's Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence at Redbank in South-East Queensland using state-of-the-art technology and manufacturing processes.

Embraer and Saab have been working as partners since 2014, when the Brazilian Government signed the contract to supply the Brazilian Air Force with 36 Gripen aircraft, which included not only the aircraft, but also logistical support, support systems, simulators, training, and development. With the MOU signed in 2023, both companies reaffirmed their collaboration, now including the promotion of the C-390 Millennium as the preferred solution to meet the Swedish Air Force tactical air transport requirements.
