What a weekend at Costco! MOSS was approached by the wonderful Costco team to test in stores in January and we executed our first roadshow this past weekend in Westlake Village, CA. We’re so thankful for the opportunity! Sampling MOSS to new customers with the help of our co-founder, Michael B. Jordan was a success and we can’t wait for the next one. There is always a lot of excitement with new placement! I want to see it right when it hits the shelf! The issue is that early placement may be before the POG teams get to the stores! I saw 2 Van Leeuwen Ice Cream skus make their way into a couple Winn-Dixie stores last week! Yesterday was the first time I saw all 7 on shelf! Now, as you can see, they are spread throughout. They’ll probably get aligned in the next few weeks! Still excited to see them! Seeing new placement is one of the best parts of the job! Van Leeuwen is crushing it for SMB Sales & Marketing ??7 new skus at Winn Dixie. All new. ??Brand new news! 6 new skus coming to Ingles soon. ??7 skus at Harris Teeter since we started. 2 new ??2 skus hitting Lowes Foods in a few days ??4 SKUs upgrade hitting The Fresh Market in a few days. 2 net since we started, but improved skus! ??A bunch added to Earth Fare last year! With 45 doors in the region (and growing), Costco TX partnered to customize a special price/pack just for them - resulting in an order of multiple truckloads. The Costco P&L is simple and transparent. They want a value against retail and a value against cost.
