?? Transformative Journey at Ladies in Tech Africa Bootcamp! ?? These past few weeks have been an incredible season of growth in my Product Design journey with Ladies in Tech Africa, The Incubator Hub. Let me share something profound I've discovered: The biggest revelation? Human-centred design isn't just about tech; it's a mindset shift. ?? Key Learning: We often jump straight to solutions before truly understanding the problem. This approach leads to: ? Duplicate products ? Poor user adoption ? Wasted resources ? Frustrated end-users ?? The Game-Changer: Through our intensive 3x weekly classes, I've learned to: ?? Start with the problem, not the solution ??Engage with actual users ??Deep dive into research ??Apply design thinking methodologies Thanks to our facilitators, Oluwasekemi Adeyemo, Folashade Adeola-Adegbite and Esther O. ?? The panel discussion emphasized the importance of forming an EdTech community. It showed that creating a shared language and fostering collaboration between educators, innovators, and industry leaders is key to driving impactful change in education.

Are you familiar with the terms LAG and LEADER? ? LEADER, which stands for Linking Actions for the Development of the Rural Economy, is an initiative by the European Union aimed at mobilising and implementing rural development in rural communities. ? LAGs (Local Action Groups) play a key role in the LEADER approach. They are local partnerships involving the public, private, and civic sectors, responsible for creating and implementing local development strategies. LAGs are typically linked to rural areas with populations ranging from 5,000 to 150,000 inhabitants. ? In our DigiNext project, LAGs serve as the perfect link between adult education providers and rural communities. While we just received good news about future #projects funded by #CreativeEurope, it is a very good time to participate to the survey launched by European Commission for the first 10 years of the program supporting #arts, #culture and #creativity. It is an incredible way to shape the future of the #program and make it even better. In this article a little look at the Consorzio Materahub participation in the #EU initiative over the past years.

First Task @Daniekeys Tech Hub: Event Planning for Coriftech After much procrastination about sharing my first task, I’ve finally decided to post it! As part of the Daniekeys Tech Hub Mentorship Program , I was assigned to organize the Women in Tech Summit 2024,The event’s goal is to empower African women through digital transformation. Summary of What I Worked On: ? Researched and secured Vimilian Hotel, Asaba, for 500+ attendees. ? Drafted a detailed $100,000 event budget. ? Coordinated catering services with meal options for participants. ? Organized top-notch audio-visual setups for seamless presentations. ? Strategized and reached out to prominent female keynote speakers. ? Designed a comprehensive schedule, including breakout sessions and networking activities. ? Created an RSVP and registration system to streamline attendance. ? Designed branded souvenirs to enhance the event experience. Working on this task helped me to enhance my planning skills and taught me how to pay attention to the finer details that make an event successful.
