The 2-day AR Armorer course provides comprehensive and detailed exposure to the AR-15/M-4 Rifle for law enforcement professionals. The program will provide an in-depth understanding of all components, parts, and maintenance of the system. This is not an AR overview class. Each student will leave with a very enhanced knowledge of the AR system, assembly, tear-down, repair, diagnosis and maintenance of the AR-15/M-4 rifle. All rifles, parts, tools, and materials will be provided for the student to participate and accomplish the class objective. This class is a Missouri P.O.S.T.-approved training course. With my research into Mesa PD's implementation of Police Jiu-Jitsu, I discovered that a significant number of officer injuries occurred during takedown and combative suspect handcuffing. Through Police Jiu-Jitsu, these injuries were notably reduced. In normal circumstances, the heads would have rolled on the grounds of who authorized what and why? But in this case the boss was in charge and can be alleged to have ordered everything. We can only ask his senior bosses (president and CS Defense): 1. Was this an emergency to ignore simple procedures and protocols? 2. Cases are often decided on the credibility (and likability) of expert witnesses, and expert witnesses are necessary more often than you might think.
