That way you can learn the value of judgment." - You then say... "That sounds like a hard life. Can you give me a good life?" + God replies "Just like we measure the quality of a blacksmith by the strength of his steel, I measure you by what you are at the end, not the fire and the hammer it took to make you. 1 Peter 5:6?“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,”?As we begin the start of a new day, meditate on the profound message in 1 Peter 5:6. This scripture is a powerful call to humility, but not as the world often sees it. It's not about belittling ourselves; rather, it's about recognizing our position in relation to God's greatness and sovereignty. Humbling ourselves under God's mighty hand is an act of trust and surrender, acknowledging that He is the one who guides our paths and shapes our destinies. In our daily lives, this humility is expressed in how we interact with others, how we face challenges, and how we go about making decisions. It's about putting our own desires and ego aside for God's will to lead us. This humility is also about patience of trusting in God’s timing, knowing that He will fulfill His promises to us when the time is right. Let’s embrace this humility as a strength, find comfort today in that when we humble ourselves before God, we open ourselves up for Him to guide us, protect us and bless us. We will find in every situation whether a struggle or success, God is present, willing and ready to bless us. Seek God today to show you as I seek Him to show me how to practice humility in our relationship with God and others for the Glory of God!
