A glimpse of the incredible progress at Frederick Firestone Station No. 5, where we, at MEI, are proud to serve as the electrical contractor. The team has been hard at work, pushing through the winter weather to keep the project on track. MEI is proud to be a part of this journey alongside GTC , contributing to a project that stands as a beacon of community safety.
Progress report from the construction zone ?? The team at our Frederick Firestone Station #5 project has been working hard the last few months to keep everything running smoothly. Since the beginning of January, this project’s steel erection has been in progress while the Living Quarters side of the building was temporarily enclosed with a roof, and the exterior sheathing was installed. During this time, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-in continued within the building. Interior wall framing is also complete on this side, and our team is working to get the soffits and drywall ceiling framed next. The less than desirable winter weather has turned out to be a blessing in disguise for this project, as a lot of the interior work has been able to get checked off the to do list. In the coming months, the focus will shift to the roof’s framing where our team plans to conquer the screen walls for aesthetics as well as installing the metal wall panel on these walls. Join us on this journey of resilience, as we create a hub for Frederick and Firestone’s community safety. Our team is building more than a structure; we're building a haven for our local heroes! #projectupdate #firestationbuild
