Big strides for Montgomery County! We’re thrilled to receive $1.5M in grants from the Maryland Energy Administration to accelerate our transition to zero-emission vehicles. This means cleaner air, healthier communities, and progress toward our ambitious climate goals! With these funds, we’ll add 9 electric vehicles and an electric loader to our fleet, reducing diesel use by 750,000 gallons and cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 400 tons—equivalent to taking 85 cars off the road.
