9 个月Long reply.. In drug development I would say actively involving patients in the planning, design, and execution of clinical trials. It brings in the importance of including the perspectives, experiences, and needs of patients to ensure that the clinical trials are patient-centered and yield meaningful results. Patient Engagement encompasses some of the following: * Protocol Development: Helping to determine the research objectives, define the study endpoints, and design the inclusion and exclusion criteria. * Informed Consent Process: Emphasizes the importance of clear and understandable informed consent documents to ensure that they are accessible, comprehensive, and address the specific concerns and questions that patients may have. * Recruitment and Retention: By involving patients in the design of recruitment materials and strategies, to resonate with potential participants and address their concerns. Additionally, they can help identify barriers to participation and implement strategies to overcome them, ultimately enhancing recruitment and retention rates. And..
