We are happy to have initiated an engagement with the Dir of Minorities Government of Karnataka, GoK for the Government Immersion where our Fellows were placed across 2 Districts - Vijaynagara and Dakshin Kannada. Over the past month, our Fellows actively looked at effectiveness of the Department run schools (Maulana Azad and Morarji Desai Residential schools) and post matric hostels gathering tremendous insights from the ground. They visited schools, hostels, interacted with the different stakeholders and gathered valuable observations and recommendations to help improve the running of the schools and hostels. This immersive experience has been a valuable step in their journey of learning and impact. ?? They presented their findings to Mr Jeelani Mokashi, Director and his team which was well acknowledged.
