Anyone that's spent time traveling to and from work in the region knows we have it good here. A report by the The Wall Street Journal confirms it ... Milwaukee is near the top of U.S. cities when it comes to commute times.
The average one-way trip is less than 22 minutes here ... about five minutes less than the national average. Shaving just three minutes per trip off a commute three days a week can save a worker 13 hours a year, according to the analysis. That's more time to spend doing the things you love.
The story's different for our neighbors in Chicago ... which, along with N.Y. and L.A, has the highest number of hours lost to delays during car commutes, according to the story.
