Sustainable reforestation, custom crayon packaging, plastic cap processing, and a physical Tetris board were the varied projects pitched by students in Conestoga’s Robotics and Automation program. The third-year students gathered at Eclipse Automation in Cambridge to present their proposals, which were then voted on by their classmates. Two of the four capstone projects will go on to be designed and manufactured, combining all the skills the students have learned in class and on work terms. https://ow.ly/6lEa50R1q6g

Happy Pi Day??!!! ???To celebrate 3/14, we practiced TP programming our FANUC America Corporation robots to slice some pie. ???Slicing an unsupported trapezoid is tricky. #students learned about the advantages of proper fixturing, and the advantages of tool frame definition. ???Some pies were eaten in the creation of this episode.
