This was the first legally binding international instrument to protect privacy in the digital age, laying the foundation for the modern framework of data protection we have today. In his opening remarks, the EDPS Secretary General, Leonardo Cervera-Navas, recalled how over the last decades, ???????? ???????????????????? ?????? ?????????????? ??????????????????????????, becoming a cornerstone of democratic governance, innovation, and human rights. Today, data protection is no longer just about ensuring compliance with legal frameworks.
