Do you skew international or domestic if and when you drink beer? If the latter, did you celebrate #AmericanBeer ??????Day? No worries if not — it fell on a Sunday this year (10/27) so that means you have all week ?? (???? ???? that's what I call a #BeerCheers -- which you'll see us do in this video too... ) Now that you've got plenty of time to celebrate it, check out this highlight vid I shared from my “Savory & Sweet Show” vault re: the value of serving up and providing hidden beer history for a client— via a 2022 harvest season convo with Kim Harris, co-owner of Harlem Hops .. + Below is the link to my 2024 #AmericanBeerDay blogpost that sheds a little light on the surprising underpinnings of our nation's thriving beer industry. It's intended to serve as inclusively empowering intel for future beer-based entrepreneurs of all hues (albeit potentially "controversial" or even contested -- especially these days depending on what one imagines the profile or Avatar of the “#averageAmerican #beerdrinker” is, always was, or 'should be')… I’d love to know whether what’s in this brief blogpost (and any of the other TFG beer posts I wrote that it links to) is new information to you or if it’s familiar in any way (i.e, you’ve heard it or perhaps bits of it before -- along with your comments or q’s — including ways you think info like this either could or wouldn’t ever possibly impact beer businesses & the industry at large. I’ll stay tuned … ??????? https://lnkd.in/eKAxJExE

Woah, I hear the reactions to Homebrewcon being put on "Hiatus". My own take? Love the move. Put aside the financial realities, declining attendance, and simple need and consider where the GABF came from; the AHA and homebrewing. "The Great American Beer Festival got its start in 1982 as just a part of the American Homebrewers Association‘s fourth annual conference. If the name is any indication, however, founder Charlie Papazian had grander ambitions for this remarkable event." The roots of beer as we know it today, can be directly drawn back to the AHA, the early days of GABF, Charlie P., and so many other pioneers like him. Beer was beer, however it came about. That symbiotic approach paid dividends. So I applaud the Brewers Association on this decision. I understand how it may feel to many, but right now, we need to bring everyone under the same tent; from homebrewers to pro-brewers, from 5-gallon batches to larger industrial production, from homebrew to macro. Power in numbers, strength in solidarity. Beer is changing in front of our eyes, and we all need to adapt to find a new foundation and perhaps tap back into the mindsets of those folks in the late 70's and early 80's. We can figure this out together. Relax, don't worry, have a homebrew. https://lnkd.in/g_TbpG4R

“What if that PDF or spreadsheet you were sharing always knew what products you had in stock, what price book every customer was on, what products they were supposed to see and when they were supposed to pay? What if this ‘magic spreadsheet’ not only saved you this time and hassle but also helped increase your conversion rate of prospects into paying customers?” #marketspace

??????'?? ???????? ?????? ?????????????? ??????????????????? ???????? ???????? ??????! That’s exactly what Lord Karan Bilimoria did when he found the UK’s beer scene lacking. None of it worked for curry night. So, he made his own, and Cobra Beer was born. What started as a fix for his own problem turned into a global brand—and one of the most awarded beers out there. But Lord Bilimoria's story isn't really about beer. It’s about deciding to lead when others hesitate. From leaving his Cambridge law degree and sidestepping his family’s military background to pursue brewing to leading the Confederation of British Industry through the pandemic, including pushing for widespread lateral flow testing when it mattered most—he's made a career out of tackling the challenges others shy away from. In our conversation, we talk about what it takes to ignore the safe options, how much of a role luck really plays, and why staying comfortable is the enemy of making a real impact. The episode is live now. Tune in if you’re ready for some sharp insights into the art of decision-making. Or don’t, if you prefer the boring path and bland beer. https://lnkd.in/e6MZ32bJ
