Women have played a role in the U.S. military since the Revolutionary War, often serving as nurses, spies, and support staff. In 1948, the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act granted them the right to serve as permanent, official members of the military. Since then, women have risen to every challenge—serving in combat, leading missions, and proving that courage knows no gender. On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the incredible women who have served our country and the mothers of military families who support them. Their strength, dedication, and sacrifices have shaped the course of history and continue to protect our nation’s freedoms every day. To all the women who have answered the call to serve, and to the mothers who stand behind them with unwavering support—we thank you. Your resilience and dedication inspire us all. ?????? #MilitaryMakeover #InternationalWomensDay
