It’s not exactly a secret that working a full day on a Friday during the summer can be a bit of a bummer. Living in the Pacific Northwest, where gray skies dominate much of the year, I’m no stranger to just how precious those sunny summer days are. So, why not embrace it, and give folks a break? That’s how Agiloft Summer Fridays was born. Every Friday afternoon from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Agiloft encourages our team to take off half the day and spend it doing something that enriches them. Some folks travel, others spend quality time with family and friends, and some even explore the great outdoors. As for me, I love spending that extra time hiking, getting on the water, or just hanging at home trying to learn a new song. Why do Summer Fridays? Because I firmly believe in EX=CX, the concept that Employee Experience is directly tied to Customer Experience. When our employees are supported, happy, and fulfilled, it reflects in their work and, ultimately, in our customers’ successes and business outcomes. Last Friday afternoon, our final Summer Friday of the year, I logged off early and got in the car with the family to enjoy a weekend away. I hope you got the chance to do the same. It's another Exciting week with lot's of anticipation for what's to come,with just a glimpse on schedule of the new week I believe it's going to be good one indeed ?????? How I stay organized while completing my deliverables; As a Virtual Assistant, staying organized is crucial to manage multiple tasks, clients, and deadlines. Here are some tips that helps me stay organized: 1. Create a schedule: Plan out your day, week, or month using a calendar or planner. 2. Set clear goals and priorities: Identify urgent and important tasks and focus on them first. 3. Use project management tools: Utilize tools like Trello, Asana, or ClickUp to manage tasks, projects, and clients. 4. Implement a task list system: Write down tasks and break them down into smaller, manageable chunks.( Learnt this from my mother; things to buy from the market ?? ??no.1) 5. Designate a workspace: Create a dedicated workspace with necessary resources and minimal distractions. 6. Establish communication channels: Set up clear communication channels with clients and team members. 7. Use time-tracking tools: Monitor time spent on tasks and projects to optimize productivity. 8. Take breaks: Take regular breaks to recharge and avoid burnout.( Listening to music or just laying down helps me recharge) 9. Continuously learn and improve: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new tools. 10. Set boundaries: Establish clear boundaries with clients and prioritize self-care. 11. Use automation tools: Leverage automation tools like Zapier to streamline repetitive tasks. 12. Stay organized digitally: Keep computer files and documents organized, and use cloud storage for easy access. Driven by a desire for growth and discovery, I embarked on this new path with excitement, eager to embrace a fresh career direction. The onboarding week was packed with invaluable insights and moments that will shape my journey moving forward. One of the highlights of the week was hearing from individuals like Precious Obodoegbulam. Their words left a lasting impact, reinforcing the power of perseverance, creativity, and dreaming big. Collaboration was a recurring theme, and I realized that success in this program—and in life—is often a team effort. There is an undeniable sense of community, which reassured me that I am in the right place to grow and thrive. Throughout the sessions, I learned that being a Virtual Assistant is not just about mastering tools or processes but about embracing honesty, open-mindedness, and the courage to push beyond limits. Yes, I concur... What's happening isn't quite synergy. Initially, it might seem like a group of students having a blast with some random dance steps. The steps lack synchronization and rhythm, and I don't disagree. However, you can hear me laughing out loud and thoroughly enjoying with them. We always have a blast in our soft skills classes. This session was focused on Team Synergy from our Basic Team Skills Course. As part of the learning process, students are working towards real-world projects in teams. Indeed, they're finding it tough to form a team; there's stress, dissatisfaction, chaos, and confusion, but they're still trying. This session is an attempt to introduce what makes a team, to demonstrate to them how powerful synergy can be for a team, and to identify and reflect on whether they are anywhere near achieving synergy in the team. As expected, they were unaware of its importance in the team-building process, but through the session on synergy, they now understand what it is. Throughout this course, they will undergo the team-building process to comprehend the elements that make a team, what breaks a team, and what needs to be built to create high-performing teams. Hi everyone I want to share some of my experience during my first week at AMS, I noticed several outstanding things during Training. A previous manager once told me to always “Work on Excellence”, to me it seemed like a slogan or attitude towards hard work. However, over time I have encountered real-life examples of this principle. Here are 3 interesting pointers on why I think AMS really embraces this motto. *Efficient Time Management: From day one everyone is well organized; Trainings sessions are carried out in a timely manner; everyone show commitment to punctuality and productivity. *Quality of the Content: Concise and relevant material shared during each session (No fillers or unnecessary information shared). Information is focused on knowledge that will benefit our roles. *Diversity: Another thing that really stands out in AMS is Diversity, within my first four days of induction and training, I have met a lot of awesome people literally from all across the world, Ireland, Poland, Canada, US, Latin America etc. I’m excited to start this new adventure at AMS and see what this new chapter in my career brings. #weareams
