The primary goal of the Ford Ranger Tremor package is to enhance the truck’s off-road capabilities. This is achieved by adding the Terrain Management System? and Trail Control?. The Terrain Management System? provides selectable driving modes for different terrains. At the same time, Trail Control? is an off-road cruise control system that handles acceleration and braking, allowing the driver to focus on steering. In addition to these systems, the Tremor package includes a modified heavy suspension with higher ground clearance and FOX shock absorbers. This allows the Ranger to handle rough and uneven terrain with ease. The electronic-locking rear differential further improves mud, sand, or slush traction, while skid and bash plates protect the engine, fuel tank, and transfer case from damage.
