One of the topics we discussed was AI and how to identify the market needs that are more effectively addressed by agile startups versus large corporations. I like this question because it gets to the heart of our motivation for founding Thunkable in the first place. Thunkable is all about turning passive consumers into active creators. Students (of all ages) don’t look at Meta or Microsoft as platforms that enable creativity. These Goliaths make it seem like AI tools are meant to be consumed. I challenge that and say that our job as one of the “Davids” of the world is to provide that accessibility so that students feel like they can experiment with AI, rather than just looking at it as another product. ??
