I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Walid Khoury ?? and the Water Environment Federation for orchestrating this invaluable panel discussion. I'm honored to be joining the panel alongside esteemed colleagues Mohannad Malki, Beau Schilz Miguel Pinto, Spencer Pierini, MBA, PE and Juan Miguel Pinto. We're eagerly anticipating the opportunity to merge our collective expertise and share it on one of the most prestigious platforms in our industry - #WEFTEC. The global water landscape presents both challenges and opportunities. With the planet's rivers totaling approximately 2,000 km3, we're nearing a critical juncture where we discharge nearly 400 km3 of #wastewater into surface water bodies. While just over 50% of this wastewater volume receives treatment, a mere 1% addresses #emergingcontaminants - a stark reminder of the work ahead. After three years of intensive research in this field, if I had to identify the area with the greatest potential for the Water Positive initiative, it would undoubtedly be wastewater treatment, with water reuse as the cornerstone of our approach. How can we realize this potential? I invite you to join our panel tomorrow at 10 AM to delve into our strategic vision. It's not about continuing to visualize how many people we might leave behind for 2050. Instead, it's about envisioning a future where, by taking the right actions, we don't have to leave anyone behind. Let's focus on implementing what we know needs to be done. Let's embark on this journey together, turning challenges into opportunities for a #waterpositive future.

We find ourselves at a time when the industry faces increasing regulatory scrutiny and heightened public accountability, meaning effective wastewater management is now even more critical than before. Quality data is key to making the right decisions. One way to achieve this in wastewater management is through the 1Spatial Pipe Inference solution, which empowers utilities to optimise sewer maintenance, reduce costs, and ensure environmental compliance. Watch our on-demand webinar, which explores how leveraging our technology can prevent sewage discharge, meet environmental performance standards, and build public trust through transparent and efficient wastewater management practices. Stay ahead of regulatory demands whilst safeguarding both the environment and your operational bottom line. https://bit.ly/47vQKLu
