Method raises a $41.5 million Series B round #Method Financial has secured $41.5 million in Series B funding to accelerate its mission of enhancing financial account connectivity for #fintech lenders. Founded by Mit Shah and Eli Pollak, the company is transforming how financial institutions and fintech platforms access and manage consumer liability data. The Method #API provides real-time, read-write access to consumer financial data from over 15,000 institutions, enabling seamless integration of payment capabilities and eliminating the need for traditional username-password authentication. Instead, Method uses identity-based authentication and consumer consent, making it easier for fintechs like SoFi, Figure, and Bilt Rewards to embed repayments and other features directly into their platforms. Since its inception, Method has powered over 30 million passwordless account connections, serving four million consumers and facilitating more than $500 million in liability repayments. With this new funding, the company plans to expand its use cases, deepen its banking relationships, and continue driving innovation in financial connectivity. The Series B round was led by Emergence Capital, with contributions from avra, Samsung Next, Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, and Ardent Venture Partners. Investors like Carlotta "Lotti" Siniscalco of Emergence Capital are confident in Method's ability to redefine financial management by offering a real-time, holistic view of consumer debts, fostering better financial decision-making and engagement across platforms.
