PROJECT | THE LIGHTHOUSE ? In the creation of The Lighthouse, we have conceived a space where fantasy and imagination intertwine with the essence of the sea and its stories. Inspired by nautical architectures, sea creatures and myths surrounding the ocean, we have given shape to a lighthouse turned into a playground. Located in the heart of Diagonal Mar, The Lighthouse not only aims to be a place of entertainment, but also to offer a complete experience, beyond the simple act of playing, where each visit becomes a journey into the unknown. The Lighthouse invites little adventurers to conquer its heights. Through an internal climb, they can reach the top and slide down the thrilling slide that winds its way down. But this park is not just a physical challenge, it is also a portal to imaginary worlds, where every corner is steeped in stories to be discovered. Every detail has been carefully designed to stimulate children's creativity and curiosity; every element of The Lighthouse invites you to immerse yourself in a world of fantasy. Let nature in! It's pretty widely understood that interactions with nature are good for us. Most of us will have felt our stress levels drop while walking in nature, experienced the energy rush that comes from a cold dip in the ocean, and have been captivated by a Pīwakawaka swooping right in front of us, but what about nature in our homes, in our architecture? We usually seek the benefits of exposure to nature when we're on holiday, or on the weekends - yet we spend most of our lives in our homes. Creating these human-nature connections has become a core principle in my architectural design process, and it's creating some beautiful results. Use virtual cameras and lighting setups to visualize how shots will look and interact with assets, saving time during actual filming and ensuring precise alignment between real and virtual elements.
