On April 24 it will be International Guide Dog day. This celebrates all the hard work these special canines do. These dogs undergo months of specialized training in order to become qualified as guides. One of the most valuable tasks these dogs learn is traffic checks. These canines learn to avoid traffic and are taught intelligent disobedience. Intelligent disobedience is when the handler asks the dog to go forward across the street and the dog notices cars traveling in front of the handler. In this case the dog will not cross the street. Other tasks that these dogs do are avoiding obstacles on the sidewalk or street, and taking their owner to a familiar destination. AS a reminder do not pet or feed these dogs when they are working. This will distract them and can lead to safety issues for the owner.

On a more urgent note, I need your assistance with a situation that just happened today in the parking garage at my workplace--the goats are causing quite a ruckus and I need to submit a complaint. I have attached evidence for any necessary documentation, and here's the plan of action we've recommended: - Bert will receive a verbal warning - Ted, Rooster, and Ernie will all be put on a P.I.P. - We will hold an emergency meeting to execute necessary safety precautions to prevent disruptions or damage in the future (e.g. closing garage door upon arrival, secure goat pen, etc.) If you have any suggestions or requests, I am taking them now! Let's all work together to make our workplace pet-friendly and safe for everyone. ?? ??
