Health systems spend a lot of time and money on physician recruitment and engagement. Where these efforts fall short is typically in the lack of applicable technology available to help providers do their jobs more efficiently. By offering a solution that lightens part of their day-to-day workload, we’re enabling clinicians to focus more on increasing care quality, while keeping patients engaged in their care post discharge. It’s a win-win. Listen to our co-founder and CEO Manav Sevak as he outlines his experience hearing from health systems about how they handle clinician recruitment and retention.

?? Enhancing Healthcare Through Nonviolent Communication (NVC) ?? In healthcare settings, effective communication is crucial but often challenging. Breakdowns in communication can occur, leaving patients feeling misunderstood and healthcare providers overwhelmed. Here’s how the principles of Nonviolent Communication can transform these interactions for the better: Observation Over Judgment: By focusing on observations free from personal judgments, healthcare providers can better understand the factual basis of a patient's concerns, leading to clearer and more effective interactions. Empathy for All: Identifying and empathizing with the feelings and needs of patients, as well as fellow healthcare workers, fosters a nurturing environment that promotes healing and cooperation. Requests, Not Demands: When healthcare professionals make requests instead of demands, it inspires cooperation and a collaborative spirit in treatment planning. Connecting with Empathy: Strategies like active listening and validating emotions can help healthcare workers connect empathetically, ensuring patients feel truly heard and valued. Navigating Challenges Compassionately: Using NVC during difficult conversations about diagnoses or treatment options helps maintain a compassionate presence, which can ease anxiety and fear. Mind-Body Benefits: Feeling seen and validated by healthcare providers can have significant mind-body benefits, enhancing overall well-being and satisfaction with care. Building Trust: Implementing NVC can deepen trust and rapport between providers and patients, creating a more supportive and effective healthcare experience. Let’s prioritize compassion and clarity in healthcare communications. Have you experienced the benefits of NVC in medical settings? Share your stories below! #HealthcareCommunication #NonviolentCommunication #PatientCare #EmpathyInHealthcare

Healthcare Needs more Reflection no Criticism for Lasting Change I feel very lucky to have met Tommy Whitelaw (@tommyNtour on Twitter). He is so full of kindness and passion for improving healthcare. I will never forget the story of his mother to the audience at the 2024 Patient Experience Symposium - how her caregivers did not realize that they were part of his mom's final chapter of her love & life story. Imagine how you would approach each interaction differently if you kept this in mind as you went about your work each day. That is Tommy's message to frontline healthcare workers and healthcare leaders. We need to give them the support and space so that they can better connect with patients. We need to give them time for self-reflection versus endless criticism for not doing things according to policy. I had so much fun interviewing Tommy. Check out this clip. For the full interview, use the link in the comments.

CEO, RheoMed MSO Physician Executive | Chief Medical Officer (CMO) | Board Leader | Innovation Officer ? Leading Health Care Organizations and Growing Technology and Medical Startup Companies
Wellness Wednesday – Data Exchange RheoMed MSO is proud to be one of greater than 100 health care entities participating in the California Data Exchange Framework through LANES in Los Angeles County. We join medical groups, hospitals, clinics, health plans, MSO’s, health departments, mental health facilities, post-acute facilities, and social service organizations that want to coordinate and improve care by exchanging data for patient care in real time. However, not all health care entities participate in data exchange. Sometimes this is due to relatively challenging situations such as cost, personnel, expertise, priorities, etc. The state of CA has provided financial and technical support to help overcome some of these barriers. In other cases, companies, while publicly supportive of data exchange, choose not to participate due to reasons such as competitive advantage, “proprietary information”, or simply control. This behavior is inexcusable, if not scandalous, because it interferes with optimal patient care. Let’s commit as a medical community to work together to improve patient care. Let’s all “do well by doing good”. RheoMed MSO, Inc. #wellnesswednesday #valuebasedcare #renalcare

Jennifer Radu Hey healthcare heroes! ?? Are you looking for ways to supercharge your clinic's patient experience? Look no further! Here are 5 top-notch tips to level up your game using patient-centered care: 1?? **Listen Up** - Really hearing your patients out is the solid first step. It’s not just about what the charts say; it’s about their fears, their ideas, their expectations. And remember, active listening involves more than just your ears - it includes reassuring nods, and empathetic eye contact too. 2?? **Empower Your Patients** - Make sure your patients are active contributors to their health journey, not just passive participants. Empower them with knowledge about their condition and treatment options so they can make informed decisions. 3?? **Be a Team** - Collaborate with your patients, not just with your staff. Build a healthcare team where the patient is a key player, not a sideline observer. 4?? **Consistency is Key** - From the reception desk to the examination room, ensure the patient experience is consistent. Everyone on your team plays a crucial role in creating that comforting and supportive ambiance. 5?? **Keep Up with Follow-ups** - Post-visit communication can make or break a patient's experience. Regular follow-ups show patients that you care about their health beyond the confines of the clinic. Remember, at the heart of patient-centered care is empathy. So let's put our patients where they belong - at the center of all we do. Have you got any tips to add? Drop them below. Let's learn from each other! #PatientCenteredCare #Healthcare #ClinicExperience
