The last leaves of fall are still hanging on dearly to what they know is life here in the Southeast, and it's a beautiful time of year, but it signals the inevitable. And on these cold, blustering days, one wonders what those last few leaves are clinging to. We all know that change is inevitable and inevitable part of life, but that logic doesn't seem to bring much comfort when it's you, the last leaf hanging on the tree. It can be challenging. And being inevitable is not much comfort for the one that's stepping into the liminal. How do you turn and face the strange, the unknown? Is there something you're clinging to?
