“We are a small crew, between presentations, meetings, and the booth, we’ll have to pick and choose our activities at the conference.” Not quite! Congresses are key learning and sharing opportunities, but small organizations may miss out because they don’t have enough hands to maximize their attendance. Congresses can also be costly to participate in, especially when you have a booth, and can be hard to coordinate different activities so you meet with the right people and everyone is aware of important activities with so much going on. If your organization need to staff a booth, obtain reporting on congress activities, plan and coordinate activities, hang and/or present a poster, or needs an extra set of hands for 1:1 meetings, let’s chat!

** Throwback Thursday ** Let's take a look at our many conferences over the years. We organized one in 2018 and six in 2022 - thanks to the support of our members and growing CAASA team! Today we look at our flagship conference - the CAASA Annual Conference - 2020 edition. As in many past years, Ranjan Bhaduri at Bodhi Research Group worked his magic to bring together a truly amazing line-up of speakers. It was our second virtual edition so the tach and process was not new to many by then and all went well. We were excited to welcome about 60% investors to this conference - a record proportion and one that allowed for many Table Talk and 1:1 discussion facilitated with our conference messaging and meeting platform. This, we believe, is a golden ratio that provides value to all attendees. We also like to keep our conferences smaller (200-250 max) and would only increase delegate maximums if we have the requisite (40%+) block of investors already registered. We're in this for the long-haul and for member value!

How important is having various speakers? Most summits/ conferences tend to pull people in by the speaker names and the number of sessions.
