OWU Accolade ?? Ohio Wesleyan has once again been recognized for its excellence, earning a spot in the highly respected 'Fiske Guide to Colleges 2025.' The guide highlights our commitment to provide an education that features "strong preparation for graduate and professional school" and serve students with a new general education curriculum that shifts "the focus from discipline-based requirements to capability-based courses and includes a problem-solving first-year seminar focusing on a complex global challenge." https://bit.ly/OWUAccolade

From 2022-2024 CAEL worked with four postsecondary institutions in Texas on improving outcomes for adult and Latino adult learners. Now, the findings from our independent evaluator Ithaka S+R are out! Spoiler alert: all institutions made significant progress in their areas of focus, and many overall lessons emerged that can be applied to any institution interested in pursuing similar goals, including: ?? Use data to build a business case for developing an intentional strategy for targeting and supporting adult learners ???? Adult learners themselves are valuable partners in identifying strategies for improvement ??
