You added this weekly newsletter and you share this thought. Every patient you're seeing is dying. It's your job to prove they're not. That line, quite frankly, just stopped me in my tracks. Just sort of a mindset for how you think about your job. And I'm just curious, was that passed on to you as a mentor? Is it one of those things that you kind of strung together from various things that you learned? Just talking about that every patient you're seeing is dying, it's your job to prove they're not. I think that's something that I've kind of created through my experience of working in the emergency room. Kind of working with residents and teaching residents and medical students. I remember on one of my very first emergency medicine rotations back when I was a medical student, my senior resident at the time said to me, an emergency medicine, we're not playing to win. We played and not lose. And that's something that really stuck out to me. And I've kind of kept that with me for all these years. And I guess it's kind of morphed into something like this. You hit the nail on the head. This is something that I'm thinking about as I'm walking into the hospital. This is something that I'm thinking about as I'm on shift because just like that medical student that you mentioned earlier, I want to work hard. I want to do a good job. I want to be the best. Doctor that I can be. So this is something that I kind of keep in mind for myself. This is something that I hopefully imbue in the the medical students and the residents that I'm teaching. And, and I think it was something worth saying because there are so many aspects of this job, especially something as chaotic as emergency medicine that that maybe go unsaid and kind of going along with trying to humanize this a little bit more. I want to put up a lot more of that information out there for the students or whoever else is reading it to kind of get a little bit of insight into the daily workings in the position that's in an emergency department in particular.
