National Black Business Month was founded by Frederick E. Jordan Sr. in August 2004 to drive the policy agenda for the 2.6 million African-American businesses in the United States. Black entrepreneurs play a vital role in our nation's economy, with over 161,000 Black-owned businesses generating more than $183 billion annually. However, there is a significant opportunity gap between Black business owners and their white counterparts. ATBB exists to help address this disparity, ensuring Black entrepreneurs have equal access to resources, funding, and opportunities. We encourage our followers to support Black-owned businesses in their communities by patronizing their establishments, sharing their stories on social media, and referring them to friends and family. This helps contribute to the growth and sustainability of these businesses. This month, we will be highlighting some unique stories about business owners that have caught our attention. We also want to acknowledge and congratulate our mentors and graduates from the Prosperity Bank State Fair Masterclass, an 8-week in-person educational series held in South Dallas. This community-driven initiative is one of the ways we partner with organizations to drive growth and success in underrepresented communities. Finally, if you are in the Dallas/Fort-Worth metroplex, we encourage you to attend the ongoing Dallas Startup Week sponsored by Capital One. It promises to be a packed month, and we wish you an excellent back-to-school season as well. #NationalBlackBusinessMonth #BlackEntrepreneurship #BlackOwnedBusinesses #ShopBlackOwned #BlackBusinessCommunity

Always remain a student ? I had an incredible experience in Nashville with my Pipeline Entrepreneurial Fellowship Cohort family! We took a deep dive into our financials, engaged in some tough but necessary conversations, and gained valuable insights that will help drive our future growth and goals. Most importantly we learned how to tell our stories through a financial lense. Scaling one day at a time! #ContinuousLearning #PipelineCohort #FinancialGrowth #LeadershipDevelopment #BusinessGoals #Thenextpaige #elainapaige
