#TBT to our 2022 systematic review, meta-analysis, and meta-synthesis exploring the current literature on assistance dogs for military veterans with PTSD. We found that 41 articles were published through 2021. It has been observed that assistance dogs may have a positive influence on veterans with PTSD. However, to confirm this, more methodologically rigorous research is needed - including randomized studies!
