Fulfilling both of these requirements produces?justified trust. Using?ABB RobotStudio, we integrated three robots: SCARA?for assembly, Delta IRB?for sorting, IRB?for box customization. Good news! Resaro has been awarded in Cap Vista's Accelerator - Solicitation 2024 1.0! ?? ?? By 2025, 90% of online content could be ‘generated by AI’. What once awed us, like hyper-realistic AI singers in early 2023, are becoming quaint by the end of the year. The rapid advancement in generative AI tools is posing new challenges like the rise of deepfakes and disinformation. Our team at Resaro is developing a suite of approaches and tools to ensure content integrity. Technologies such as deepfake detectors play a crucial role in the "trusted flagging" of harmful content. Day 4 of Dr. John Vial's Robotics Challenge: How to give your robot a map For Day 4 I looked at how robots navigate and map their surroundings. In robotics, creating and using maps is crucial for navigation. We delved into Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) and explored the intricacies of ROS launch files. Here's what I learned: 1. SLAM allows robots to build a map of their environment while simultaneously determining their location within it. (RViz makes this easy to visualize). 2. Launch files in ROS are essential for setting up complex systems, chaining together various components like simulators, SLAM algorithms, and visualization tools. It was pretty cool to see the map dynamically update as the robot moves, constantly aligning new sensor data with the existing map. I'm looking forward to working more with this!
