Students have to have that persistence to get through problems in a different way because the problem, whatever it is, whether it's a collaboration issue or technical issue we can't solve, we need help from someone else, they have to really push through that. Sometimes in a group project, as you and I might remember from group projects at school, is sometimes you can just fade into the background or you can push your own way through if you really think you have the right answer. But that only works in the short term, and it's really not the skill set that you need for long-term employability. I think having a work-based learning experience can help students to be persistent in how do I solve this problem in the most efficient, effective way that gets us all to that end result.
