It’s 2024, 76 years since the first supermarket opened in the UK. It’s hard to believe that during this time, menopausal women have had no designated retail offering. They have remained overlooked and underserved. With the support of our retail partners, including Morrisons, where changing this outlook. We’re giving women clearly signposted, menopause-friendly, MTick approved products, that we’ve assessed to ensure they support, ease or relieve one or more of the 48 signs of the menopause. And we’re putting them in designated areas of the store with education and support to allow women to find solutions to help them live their best menopause. The proof this is what women want is highlighted in the results we’re seeing, with increased sales of menopause friendly products within the fixture vs total category and increased share of the 45+ shopper into the H&B category. As we approach World Menopause Day, it's fantastic to see more companies like the Financial Conduct Authority taking proactive steps to support their employees during this important life stage. Claire Phipps, an incredible menopause doctor, and I had the privilege of joining a panel discussion as part of their Elevate: Invisible Illness Series. It was a great conversation about menopause, its impact, and the importance of workplace support.
