Did you know F4 does more than just set absolute references in Excel? It actually plays a role in a handful of shortcuts, and this is one that I admittedly often forget. So, I decided to make a video and see if that helps keep it more top of mind for me and anyone else who sees this. Have fun out there. #excel #data #analytics #nomouseclub TMB Analytics
This shortcut is my most favorite, ctrl+T is the 2nd one.
F4 redoes the last action (where possible); I just used it earlier to insert and delete rows/columns (just another example of possible use).
I don't know why but it's sorta satisfying to run through the references with F4; absolute $#,$#, row ref #$, column ref $#, no ref, start over cuz I missed my intended target ??
No way ??!!! Seriously this number format can be done with F4?!? Suddenly, I feel like my whole life has been a waste in time ??
Great tips Matt! My Wadgets percentage always has way too many decimal points...
I was just thinking the other day this would be a helpful feature. Thanks, Matt!
I was today years old…
