After a successful World Tour 2024, which saw it land in Brazil, the United States and Mexico, and is preparing for its last stop in Argentina, Sports Summit is already organizing its global events for 2025, which will include its first edition in Europe, in Madrid, in June, and the return to Mexico as Sports Summit Latam. While the IFF Women’s World Floorball Championships 2023 (WFC 2023) in Singapore was only the second time that floorball’s pinnacle event has been held outside Europe, it succeeded in capturing the interest of floorball fans from around the world, evidenced by an event evaluation report produced by Quantum Consultancy. The media results from the WFC 2023, including cumulative TV audience of 5.4 million, 3.3 million live views of match streams and 6.2 million social media impressions, confirm the growing appeal of women’s floorball. It is hoped that the WFC 2023 will help to stimulate the growth of floorball in Singapore and South-East Asia, both in terms of participation, as well as the professional and commercial development of the sport.
