I’m excited to kick off my first IEEE PES Insulated Conductors Committee meeting as part of the Executive Committee this week (currently serving as Second Vice Chair), 12 years after my very first ICC meeting (also along Florida’s west coast). We are on track for record attendance this week with over 535 utility, consulting, construction (Henkels & McCoy West / MasTec Power Delivery), manufacturing, and educational contributors. Looking forward to a great week of networking; working together to develop and maintain the standards that are used to design, specify, and install underground T&D cables.
