Alignment has been the very bottleneck for productivity in #siliconphotonics and photonic integrated circuits (PIC). With the FMPA (Fast Multichannel Photonics Alignment) algorithm developed by Scott Jordan and implemented in the unique motion and positioning solutions from PI (Physik Instrumente) Group, alignment ist reduced to a matter of a fraction of a second.
