Never play defense in your interviews. Go on offense. Try this?? → Create something of value BEFORE you walk in → Treat your interview like a new discovery call → Control the narrative with your questions Change your mental approach: ? Don't defend your past ? Create their future Why? → No one cares what you did → They care what you can do now Showing is MUCH stronger than telling ?? And make this mental shift Go from: → "I hope they like me" To: → "I hope I like them" Interviews are a two-way street. Make sure they are a fit for you. Go on offense. Not defense. In your preparation. In your attitude. It works ??? -- P.S. Have you finished House of the Dragon yet? Trying to decide if I can post all my memes yet. Or if I'll spoil the show for people haha -- ?? Hmm. Recruiters/HR definitely care about what you did, that is why the STAR response is recommended. An interview question goes like this, “Describe for us a time when….”
Love it. Guide the conversation where you want it to go.

Great points on going on the offense in interviews and treating it like a two-way street. In my experience, however, I’ve grown to the point where it’s not just about whether I like them anymore, it's about whether I even want to engage at all. Years of stressful workloads, overworking, and burnout have made me very selective about the environments I’m willing to step into. It’s not just about showing what I can do; it’s about ensuring that I don’t fall into the same patterns of being overburdened without the recognition or balance I deserve. I’ve learned the hard way that a job needs to work for?me, not just the other way around.
