Marine Safety Information Bulletin: On or about February 14, 2025, construction of the Ashley River Crossing Pedestrian Bridge will begin on the Ashley River, in Charleston, SC. Between the T. Allen Legare span of the Ashley River Memorial/17 Bridge and the Robert B. Scarborough Bridge (James Island Expressway), construction barges will be in the vicinity of the channel and will be limited in their ability to maneuver. Throughout the duration of the project operations may extend into the channel.
