An introduction to the VOLOCO Construction Consulting Team - This week Kevin Robinson who joined us in 2021 as a Commercial Consultant. ?? What led you to VOLOCO? "I worked with Ben when I was at Wates Construction. After I left Wates I worked at a few different companies, and then an opportunity came up for me to work with Ben again on this new challenge, and this also gave me the ability to work local to my home in St. Ives." ??What do you enjoy about being part of the VOLOCO team? "The diversity of Clients and projects, but mostly helping people to get a positive outcome and to give a new angle on achieving their requirements." ??What one thing do you believe has been a major factor in you achieving success? "Support from some of the great people I have worked over the years on the many projects spanning 30+ years." ???What excites you most about construction? "The diversity of projects, each new challenge they throw up and working with lots of diverse people. Every job is different so it’s always engaging and keeping you on your toes. A better approach is to apply the ICA Global Commissioning Standard to Projects. This standard defines the simple steps to take early in projects to avoid a crisis at the end. It's really not that difficult to avoid a crisis when project teams follow a proven blueprint based on decades of lessons learned all packed into one standard.
