Property Values in Texas are all over the place this year! Though on average Travis County says values are down looking at my Preliminary Notice of Appraisal it sure doesn't reflect it. Needless to say I am protesting! Regardless if it went up or down everyone needs to protest. It is the only way to know if you have a FAIR Market Value. Otherwise, you are saying to the county your appraised value is fine. The only way to know if your property is at the lowest fair value or if the increased value is fair is to PROTEST!
