This quote is a variation of Michael Jordan’s famous quote, but it’s all about mindset and showing up. It’s a reminder to stay focused on the effort and the progress before it matters. Thank you to all the band directors and staff that are giving this life experience to their students!

I little bit of monday motivation, which landed really well with me. There are no happy endings, because the story continues. Goes for people, teams and organisations. Reminds me of James Clear quote, which I'll butcher, but something like "Winners and losers shares the same goal, so setting goals is obviously not what separates them. Your systems and ability to learn is" One of the things I'm pondering a lot about in my own career at the moment is being more deliberate about learning and developing as a professional. Figuring out where I want to progress and why, and then explore if I can expose myself to experiences that will help me learn. What are you trying to learn at the moment?

We need others to be successful. 2. Isolation is a LIMITer. 3. Having mentors, requires the humility to say that someone has something to teach me. I simply don't know everything. 4. LIMITing people hold us back. 5. Blame is LIMITer. When we recognize that we have given others our power to LIMIT us, then we can eliminate another blockage in our lives. The Balance of Humility & Living Without Limits So, we the balance of humility - we need HUMILITY IN THE BALANCE *My dream is to PROMOTE & CONNECT people for their success. A worthwhile 4 minutes of your day to listen to this from Simon Sinek. Many of us have been here, maybe without realising what it was that was making us feel the way we were feeling. Understanding the ‘why’ really is important if we want the whole of what we do to make sense and have meaning.
Excited to now be a part of Deep Space AI. Accelerating the demystifying and decluttering of processes & procedures across the world of work...Improving productivity and physical & psychological safety as we do.
"The two most important days in your life, are the day you were born and the day you work out WHY" Mark Twain. Can I suggest you ponder on this over the weekend and refocus on YOUR why...Everyone around you will be glad you did...Thank you Simon Sinek

In the journey of athletic excellence, our greatest competitor is often not the opponent on the field but the dialogue in our minds. Understanding this internal battleground is the first step towards unlocking a level of performance and self-efficacy you've only dreamed of. 'The Tale of Two Wolves Within You' is a powerful parable of two wolves battling within us - one embodies fear, anger, envy, regret, greed, and ego; the other represents peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, and truth. The wolf that wins? The one you choose to feed. Reach out for tailored strategies and support to feed the right wolf and unlock your peak performance. https://lnkd.in/eyiAY4-j

I hope my partner doesn't read this, as I am about to confess that I watched Race Across the World without him last night. For those who are watching, I won't spoil anything, but the moment when Betty opened up to James was incredibly powerful. She was really honest about how something had impacted on her. It bought me to tears. I would have jumped in to hug James. Even if they didn't win the race, their journey together throughout this race, has helped them bond and understand each other so much better. This makes them true winners in my mind. Honesty, is a recurring them in our communication skills training. It is crucial to be honest with patients, but it is equally important to practice honesty in a kind and structured way with our colleagues, if things aren't going too well. Sharing a problem with a colleague can be cathartic and offers a chance to see things from their perspective too. Once you start to have this conversation, you can then start to consider how you can both negotiate a way forwards. #RaceAcrossTheWorld #Communication #Honesty #ConflictWithColleagues Honesty is a recurring
