On Juneteenth therapists can honor their clients and the therapeutic relationship by: 1. Do not assume you understand the impact on this day. 2. Do not put the responsibility of education on your clients. It is your job to educate yourself. 3. Attend trainings 4. Acknowledge what you do not know or understand 5. Hold space for pain, anger, confusion, etc. 6. Be aware of and acknowledge your privilege. Healing comes when we acknowledge history, current events, and impact. Healing can not happen if we dig our heads in the sand and avoid the truth. Today we can honor by allowing space for healing!

???Mind-Body Healing with Craniosacral Therapy??? As the legendary Jesse Owens once said, *"The battles that count aren't the ones for gold medals. The struggles within yourself - the invisible battles inside all of us - that's where it's at."* This quote resonates deeply with the essence of craniosacral therapy. Often, the most significant healing happens not in what we can see, but in the quiet, inner struggles we carry. Craniosacral therapy works gently to release tension deep within the body, helping to soothe those invisible battles. It supports our nervous system, promotes self-healing, and allows us to find balance from the inside out. If you're ready to honour the struggles within and find peace, craniosacral therapy might just be your answer.?? Let the healing begin??? www.cdtherapies.com?to find out more ……. #HealingFromWithin #CraniosacralTherapy #MindBodyConnection #JesseOwens #InnerPeace

?? Most people don’t realise this is how therapy works. Ok this might not sound like good news but I promise you it is. Nobody is going to fix your problems or heal your wounds. The reason this is good news is that you are not at the mercy of what happened to you or the people you employ to help you through it. You are very much in the driving seat. You can work with them to create the right conditions for natural healing to take place. When you do that your body and mind will do the rest. But if you expect everything to be better too soon, or you expect healing to mean the total elimination of any scars, then you’ll always feel like there is a problem to be fixed. So take your time and take the lead in doing what is necessary to promote healing.
