?? New Podcast Episode Alert! ?? Episode 21 of RiskCellar with myself and Nick Hartmann
We landed a major "get" for our latest episode. Although he's a good friend, Michael de Geus is also one of the foremost security experts in the world. With 12 years of service in the United States Secret Service, including protecting President Trump, Mike has unparalleled insights into security and protection.
Mike left the Secret Service to start Leatherback, a company dedicated to protecting kids from mass shootings. In this episode, he gives an exclusive analysis of an assassination attempt on President Trump that you likely haven't heard before.
What made this situation unique? Pennsylvania's open carry law and the fact that the shooter’s "rooftop" was on private property, outside Secret Service jurisdiction. While adjacent to Trump's rally, this area posed significant challenges. The Secret Service's ability to prevent the shooter from having a rifle and climbing that roof was limited.
Mike also highlights a major oversight: the orientation of the stage and the lack of visual barriers that left the former President exposed to an unmanned elevated position.
In response to the exponential increase in a polarized populace, Mike has been pursuing another groundbreaking idea. We are excited to be the very first to break this news with our interview that took place on Monday night. Mike and his team have been in advanced engineering beta for months now creating what Mike calls the “uberization” of security. He’s creating a platform called Shadow that will invite highly qualified security professionals onto his application. Think former Secret Service, Military, Police, and other well-trained protection professionals. Regardless of whether you are a celebrity, a diplomat, a dignitary, or a high-net-worth individual, Shadow will be able to protect you at the touch of a button.
We’ve been hearing the talks for months now, seen some insider info, and can tell you that we think this technology is going to be very important.
Mike's fascinating takes on these security nuances are not to be missed. Tune in for a riveting episode filled with expert insights and eye-opening details.
After we recorded, Mike also interviewed with TMZ and will be making some other appearances too. But we had him FIRST ??

2 个月How about that question that no one seems to have asked is who paid this kid to try to kill Trump? I don’t know but for me it’s still the Elephant in the room. I saw the event, I saw the Secret Service had some issues. Who signed for the JV to be on protection that day and who green lit the ex-President and don’t tell me the Iranians did it. But if you are going to stick to the Iranian story, why haven’t we lit their backyard on fire for doing this???
