Back in October, I explored how "AI-Agents" can accelerate enterprise business transformation (link to my blog: https://lnkd.in/eJaYN7ZC). This week's launch of "Operator" by OpenAI https://lnkd.in/eq39-ruy turns that vision into reality—ushering in a new era of agentic applications that blend autonomy, intelligence, and action leading to productivity. The last couple of years have been mostly about AI-powered chatbots that couldn't "do" much except for generating information but with the rapid advancements in purposeful multi-agent workflows, enterprises can redefine productivity. Operator exhibits the innate potential of AI to collaborate with humans where necessary and also act independently to execute a series of tasks - all while learning as they go. I’m thrilled to see this development as it paves the way for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) - a “human” level AI.
