My first day at Davos was truly amazing! I was excited to join the conversation on Sustainable Innovation as part of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting (#WEF2025) events. During the Imagination in Action: Architects of the Global Future session, I shared insights on “Leading Investable Ideas in Sustainability” and had the honor of presenting the advantages of Eco Wave Power’s (Nasdaq: WAVE) innovative wave energy technology and the unique connection between AI and renewable energy. It was a privilege to be joined by incredible leaders, including Tod Hynes (Maigent), Dr Amanda Rischbieth AM FAICD (Harvard ALI Coalition), and Maria Ivanova (Northeastern University), all of whom spotlighted transformative approaches for a sustainable and equitable future. The session was recorded for a feature in Forbes Magazine, and later in the day, I had the opportunity to give an interview to Forbes with the breathtaking snowy mountain tops of Davos as my backdrop. A true highlight of the day was meeting the inspiring Dr. Sylvia Earle, a legendary marine biologist, oceanographer, and National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence. Known as “Her Deepness,” Dr. Earle has dedicated her life to ocean conservation and advocacy. Her passion for protecting the world’s oceans deeply resonates with Eco Wave Power’s mission to harness clean energy from the sea, and I was truly honored to speak with her. The momentum continued into the evening with a reception at Bloomberg House, followed by the Imagination in Action closing event, which featured unforgettable performances by Wyclef Jean and Aloe Black, and a visit by will i am who spoke on a panel about AI earlier that day.
