Gratitude isn’t just a feeling—it’s a choice. Happy Thanksgiving to all our U.S. friends and beyond. Thanksgiving is more than turkey and traditions. It’s a reminder of the power of reflection. A chance to pause in a world that rarely slows down. It shifts our focus from what’s missing to what we already have. The people in our lives. The lessons we’ve learned. The small wins that carry us forward. Gratitude isn’t passive—it’s transformative. It re-centers us, helping us lead and live with purpose. So today, whether you’re celebrating with family or reflecting quietly, take a moment. Choose gratitude. What are you most grateful for this year?

Never a Bad Time to be Grateful While Thanksgiving undoubtedly presents an opportune time for gratitude, I think it’s a dominant strategy to always be grateful. When we choose to be grateful, it can transform even the most challenging situations: declining an offer from someone, sharing difficult news, etc.??Gratitude allows our sincerity shine through more effectively and helps us maintain our integrity during these interactions.? I work quite a few gratefulness practices and there are 2 that I really like: 1. Upon waking, say out loud 5 things that I’m grateful for.??This puts a healthy ‘lens’ on for the day. 2. Prior to meetings, intentionally create my way of being and include gratitude as part of it.??I stay more centered this way. Thanks Ron Macklin for this one. I’m curious what works for everyone else.

As we approach Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting on the many things I’m grateful for—both personally and professionally. This season is more than a time for turkey and traditions; it’s an opportunity to pause and recognize the people, lessons, and experiences that shape our lives and careers. To my incredible team: Thank you for your hard work, innovation, and dedication. Your efforts power not just our business but also our mission to make a meaningful impact. To my colleagues and connections here on LinkedIn: You inspire me daily. The shared insights, the collaboration, and the simple yet profound act of supporting each other remind me of the power of community. To my family and friends: Thank you for being my anchor and cheering section, keeping me grounded and motivated through the challenges and victories alike. This year, I’ve learned that gratitude isn’t just a sentiment; it’s a practice. Whether it’s thanking someone for their efforts, celebrating small wins, or simply taking a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come, gratitude fuels resilience, fosters connection, and opens the door to growth. As we prepare to gather around the table tomorrow, I encourage each of you to think about who or what you’re grateful for—and if possible, take a moment to share it. Thanksgiving: A Time for Gratitude and Reflection Thanksgiving is more than just a holiday; it’s a chance to reflect on the journey that has shaped us, both personally and professionally. Every project I’ve worked on, every challenge I’ve faced, and every milestone I’ve achieved has been made possible because of the people around me. I’m incredibly grateful to my colleagues and mentors who inspire me daily with their dedication and support. Your collaboration has not only enhanced my professional growth but also reminded me of the power of teamwork and shared vision. To my family and loved ones, thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement. You are my foundation and the reason I strive to be better each day. As we celebrate, let’s take a moment to think about those who may need a helping hand or a kind word. A small gesture of generosity can create ripples of hope and positivity. As we step into the final stretch of the year, I encourage everyone to take stock of the good moments and learnings. Let’s carry this sense of gratitude forward—not just today, but every day. This week our US-based team is taking some time off for the Thanksgiving holiday week. Thanksgiving often highlights what we’re thankful for, but what about who we’re thankful to? This week, we invite you to reflect on one person who’s made a difference in your personal or professional journey—whether they know it or not. If you're up for this gratitude exercise: (1) write them a letter of appreciation (2) tag them in the comments sharing what you appreciate most about them

It’s a Thursday, Thankful Thursday, Thanksgiving in the US. It’s a day when many give and express gratitude for what they have, what’s been and what is still to come. Even when times are tough, when there’s challenges to navigate through, there’s always something you can find to be grateful for.?? Even if you have to dig a bit harder on occasion to do so. Even if you’re expressing your gratitude through gritted teeth and it not being an easy thing to do. Living a life of gratitude doesn’t mean you won't experience hard times. It means you’ll appreciate them for what they are, learn from them and move through and beyond them. It means you’ll turn your struggles into opportunities for growth rather than a catalyst for tearing you down. It means you’ll focus on your goals and what you can do to achieve them. As the wonderful Danelle Delgado says you have a choice - ‘a life of gratitude or one without.’ I know which I’d choose! How about you? Which one will you choose? And Happy Thanksgiving to all in the US ??

Some days it is difficult to notice or remember all the wonderful things that we have going for us. It often takes holidays like Thanksgiving that give us pause for reflection. Perhaps it’s because we find ourselves supping with family and friends, who serve as reminders of what is truly deserving of our focus and energy. And, as we recover from Thanksgiving weekend festivities, challenge yourself to be grateful the other 364 days of the year. Practice gratitude with intention. Share with others what and who you’re thankful for. Take action to create a positive environment that will encourage gratitude. Start by simply asking yourself what you are grateful for! ??
