The approaching anniversary of October 7th brings a solemn reminder of the ongoing pain and loss experienced by the global community. The reverberations of that day continue to bring more communities and people into an expanding conflict. As we know from the Peacemakers in Action Network, even in the midst of war, there are people and organizations in active conflict zones that continue their work to foster lasting peace and dialogue across differences. They rarely make headlines, but their works for peace ring loud, and Tanenbaum amplifies their call. Below are resources to foster respect across communities and support each other in times of crisis. While the future is uncertain, we know there are people and organizations who hold a vision for communities of mutual respect. Together, we can, and we must see beyond conflict to create the conditions for a collective and lasting peace.
